Compile a listing of what product and services your company provides and which ones you intend selling or marketing online.

What is the purpose of the business? (see also the purpose section for more information.)

Why was it started in the first place?

How are you currently using the internet in your business?

How would you like to be using the internet in the next 6 to 12 months?

What is it about your business that sets you apart from your competitors?

Prepare a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses Opportunities and Threat) relevant to your online marketing.

Then as you read through this resource, make a note of the strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats as they relate to your organisation with respect to an online marketing.

Prepare a document with the four headings of a SWOT Analysis. This step is important. More details regarding a swot analysis, is outlined in the next section.
